Further to my introduction to singing as a chorister at Westminster Abbey, I studied the voice (counter-tenor) with Ashley Stafford
I have sung in Oxford, London and around Europe as far as Poland as a soloist and recent engagements include Handel Israel in Egypt, Vivaldi Gloria, Handel Messiah.
Choral
I enjoy participating in choral music from the other end of the baton which improves my conducting performance and gives a bit of light relief. I sing with numerous groups including William Byrd Choir, Les Jeunes Solistes, Winchester Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, and Chichester Cathedral Choirs under the direction of various conductors such as Paul Brough, Andrew Carwood, Andrew Lumsden and Jonathan Willcocks.
I have performed in festivals in England and in France such as Festival de La Chaise-Dieu and the Edington Festival singing principally sacred music.
